The Content Creator uses their creative talents to conceptualize and execute compelling and on-brand digital content. They are enthusiastic about creating inspiring materials that drive excitement and engagement in social media for their assigned clients. They are committed to remaining up-to-date on social media trends, platforms, and best practices, and can flex to meet a range of brand voices, styles, and visual personalities. They also use their graphic design skills to bring brands to life through other design assignments which may include supporting collateral like signage, email, print or promotional materials, and beyond. They are dedicated to growing and supporting brands with the high-quality work they produce, collaborating closely with the clients, team, and leadership.


Work Responsibilities

Content Concept Development

  • Brainstorms and pitches new concepts and ideas that are innovative, relevant, and on-trend.

  • Outlines a comprehensive editorial calendar for planning, review, and approval.

  • Targets concepts to specific brand audiences ensuring they meet project brief, brand, or campaign objectives for organic social, paid content, and larger targeted campaign initiatives.

  • Considers relevant tone, style, themes, and brand standards are upheld for consistent moderation and presentation.

  • Performs research on industry-related and trending topics to inform potential concept ideas that align with client goals.

  • Stays up to date on social media platform functions, capabilities, and requirements.

  • Collaborates with creative leadership to define deliverables and can easily integrate feedback into work.


  • Writes compelling captions that adhere to verbal strategy, demographics, and overall marketing goals.

  • Confidently and comfortably appears on camera.

  • Records voiceovers when needed.

  • Collects behind-the-scenes content at larger brand and influencer shoots.

  • Identifies existing brand content (photos, videos, copy, design elements) that can be repurposed in new ways or paired with freshly generated pieces.

  • Collects performance data and collaborates with team to learn from key metrics and apply adjustments to future work.

  • Works closely with Account Manager to manage creative execution and project expectations regarding timeline and delivery, and consults with Creative Director to ensure products and benefits are portrayed accurately.

  • Works closely with team and leaders to ensure content is posted and performing accurately.

  • Seeks out new and efficient software or methods to create dynamic content.

Content Creation

  • Produces and designs new social media content on a recurring monthly cadence, as well as live event and real-time content requests from client, adhering to strategy and editorial calendar.

  • Tailors execution to each brand, adhering to visual and brand guidelines and ensures it is compliant with copyright and regulatory requirements.

  • Captures new photo content that is on-trend, aesthetic, and targeted toward the overall client goals.

  • Provides shot lists and/or storyboarding for approved shoot concepts, influencer guidance, prop selection, and location scouting.

  • Films new video content in both short-form, UGC (user generated content) style, as well as more refined video style (depending on content objectives and brand-fit requirements).

  • Edits video, audio, and images using relative software to create visually elevated content.

  • Possesses ability to identify aesthetic, audio, and visual trends and keeps a pulse on the behaviors and preferences of brand audiences and consumer behaviors.


Graphic Design

  • Competently uses Adobe Creative Suite to design and edit on-brand, visually elevated materials for clients in both digital and print channels. These may include website assets, signage, print ads, promotional materials, brand support items like presentation decks, emails, video, digital advertisements, etc.

  • Exhibits strong typography, color, and layout skills while generating effective design deliverables that adhere to client brand standards.

  • Works independently to complete assignments within the guidelines of a creative brief while bringing exciting creative solutions to the initial ask.

  • Receives constructive criticism and feedback on deliverables from team and leaders well.

  • Routes production files to stakeholders for proofing and approval and communicates with Creative Director and client regarding edits from concept to completion.

  • Proofs own work prior to submitting drafts, making all revisions noted by reviewers from concept through completion stages.

  • Communicates with client regarding edits or new requests, as needed, for clarity.

  • Manages workspace and file organization without supervision.

  • Titles and saves final files to all required internal specifications and follows asset hand-off process for storing and distributing final files.

  • Contributes conceptual and strategic ideas to pitch clients that satisfy or enhance their overall marketing and business goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, agency preferred, in content creation, video, graphic design, brand design, or digital marketing.

  • Two years of proven content creation experience for an external brand.

  • Ability to showcase proven work completed on behalf of client and specific contribution to the process, content, and results.

Computer and/or software qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in social media platforms and publishing for LinkedIn, Meta, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and other key platforms.

  • Proficiency in content management/scheduling software, video and audio editing software, and various analytics platforms.

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, AfterEffects, Lightroom.

  • Proficiency in Google tools and applications, knowledge of Microsoft.


  • Ability to communicate with clients and maintain positive working relationship.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities which help adhere to deadlines.

  • Comfortable working in a high-energy environment with competing demands .

  • Ability to manage workload for multiple brands, projects, and deadlines at one time.
